Index Number [http://labourbureau.nic.in/indtab.html] for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW) on base 2001=100 for the month of May, 2014 increased by 2 points and pegged at 244 (two hundred and forty Four).  In the present scenario it will be difficult for the Govt; to contain CPI-IW at this level. However, even if they succeed to contain June 2014 figure to 244. 7% rise in DA/DR will accrue.
